Since its beginnings in 1857 as a stage stop for travelers preparing to cross the Guadalupe River on the fabled Old Spanish Trail, this Comfort Texas B&B has invited travelers to rest, relax and enjoy life for generations.

With a classic, oversize swimming pool, and spacious grounds on scenic, tree-lined, Cypress Creek perfect for fishing, canoeing and picnicking, the Meyer is an ideal setting for enjoying the superb climate and unique natural beauty.

Among the countless improvements we've made recently is a relaxing hot tub in a secluded corner overlooking the creek.

Our guests tell us they love the Meyer B&B as much as we do, and we've been working hard to make the Meyer experience more memorable than ever.

We recently finished extensively remodeling and refurbishing all our cozy suites. Beautifully updated in the finest traditional style, they are still as familiar and inviting as a visit to a favorite aunt's old German-Texas home. Almost all the suites now have charming freestanding porcelain and cast-iron gas fireplaces, and all suites have spacious new vanity areas with hairdryers, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards, and new heating and air conditioning units.
